Lavinia began singing with the encouragement of ex-Sting saxophonist Butch Thomas, who recognised the untapped potential in her voice. She very quickly developed into a confident and exciting performer.
Aside from her singing duties with PapaMengo, Lavinia also works as a session singer, performing across town in a number of musical settings including jazz, blues and R&B Soul.
