Simon is a versatile and adaptable guitarist. Self-taught and starting late at the age of 15, he quickly progressed as a player and composer. During the nineties, he composed non-commercial music for leading music library Amphonic Music whilst developing his jazz, blues and rock playing.
Equally at home in a wide variety of musical styles, he began playing with the Ruiz brothers in the early 2000's in a number of settings, and a few years ago became PapaMengo's number one choice for guitar bringing along his jazz, blues and rock influence together with his tight and funky rhythm playing.
Simon teaches contemporary and classical guitar styles and the practical application of music theory.
